The news has come as a New Year present for the patrons and well wishers of BIC. With this, BIC can develop its own infrastructure in an appropriate scale for the benefit of the Members Appeal for Contribution It would be necessary to pay the requisite amount for the land to BDA and build up the infrastructure. The amount required is substantial and BIC would like to appeal for generous donations to make the dreams come true. The donations to BIC are covered by IT exemptions to the extent of 50% vide IT order No. DIT(E)BLR/80G(R)695/ AAAAB4939Q/ITO(E)-1/Vol.2009-10 dated 23-11-2009 from the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions). Large donors (Rs.50.0 lakhs and above) would, in addition, be specially acknowledged by way of plaques in the new building complex. Patrons (Rs.1.0 crore and above), in addition, would have all the privileges of BIC which can be bequeathed to their successors.
