In a scintillating and lucid exposition, illustrated with slides, Prof. Sundara Rajan demystified the concept of Nano Technology to a group of appreciative audience. After explaining the evolution of the concept, he outlined its amazing applications in various areas and its possibilities in future. He cautioned that unless its further applications are governed and regulated, it could be misutilised to the detriment of humanity. The interactive discussion that followed highlighted the role education and media can play in the evolution of the applications of nano technology to benefit mankind. It was indeed a stimulating evening at BIC.
