| A Lecture Demonstration was
arranged on “The niceties and nuances of Karnataka
Classical Music” by BIC on 22nd September, 2007
at 5.00 PM.
Dr. T S Sathyavathi, Professor in Sanskrit, Vidya Vardhaka
Sangha First Grade College, Bangalore delivered the
lecture demonstration on the subject.
Mrs. Geetha Rao, President, Arts Umbrella, Bangalore,
presided over the event.
In her lecture demo, Dr. Sathyavathi delineated the
characteristics and subtleties of Karnatak Classical
Music and its unique significance in the field of music.
More than 40 members participated in the event and also
the interaction with Dr. T S Sathyavathi after the demonstration.
The event ended with the Vote of Thanks proposed by
Mrs. Geetha Rao.
