An epic musical film “Fiddler on the Roof” directed by Norman Jewison was screened at BIC on Saturday, 10 th July 2010 at 5.00 pm. The film featured Topol , Norma Crane, Leonard Frey, Molly Picone and Paul Mann.
This film, which was nominated for eight Academy Awards in 1971, was a lovely musical, portraying the joys and tragedies of a Jewish community in a little village in Czarist Russia, through a lovable, poor milkman was enjoyed thoroughly by a group of members and others who had braved the rain and traffic of Bangalore to come and watch the film.
