Bangalore International Centre had organized a “Classical Dance Performance” by Mrs. Prathibha Prahlad, the well-known dancer, on Tuesday, the 16th October, 2007 at 6.30 PM in its auditorium.

In a scintillating performance, lasting for more than an hour, Prathibha demonstrated as to why she is considered one of the foremost exponents of Bharat Natyam from the comparatively younger generation of Bharat Natyam dancers. Abhinaya was her forte. She interspersed her dances with informative comments and explanations which enhanced the over-all impact. An enchanting evening which was shared, alas, by a comparatively sparse audience.
